Commercial and Complex Civil Litigation

Reed & Giordano has represented clients in a wide variety of civil disputes, and particularly in complex commercial litigation. With our expertise, background and education, our attorneys are qualified to represent clients in the full range in civil litigation in the state and federal courts and arbitration. Reed & Giordano's attorneys bring a legacy and a reputation of bold, aggressive trial techniques, coupled with careful attention to the details and ongoing research.

Reed & Giordano provides an initial review of the dispute with its client, and details the complete range of options, costs and risks. Knowing the uncertainty which exists in every lawsuit, our attorneys strive to attain our clients' goals without resort, when possible, to the court system. Through negotiation, mediation or arbitration, Reed & Giordano's attorneys look for acceptable and amicable solutions that allow our clients to avoid the needless expense, delays and risks of litigation. Matters that are completely kept out of the courts often can serve our clients' long-term interest and objectives - in a cost-effective manner. Our attorneys are known for their skilled advocacy and thorough presentation. We recognize that the litigation process involves perseverance to reach our client's goal, yet keep the explanation of the dispute to fact-finders as simple and straight forward. The litigation of any dispute involves education of the facts and the law - and persuasion of the correctness of our client's position.

Reed & Giordano has had a breadth of experience in civil matters involving minority shareholder disputes, "freeze-outs", asset purchases, the purchase and sale of securities, employment law and commercial and business disputes. Philip M. Giordano, Esq. is a former SEC staff attorney and federal prosecutor, with a wealth of experience in commercial litigation cases.
